  How To Get To Furness

Furness is in a secluded wooded hilly spot, but near the main N7 road southwest from Dublin , towards Cork and Limerick . The best access from the N7 is not through Naas, but from the villages of Johnstown or Kill, which have traffic light junctions on the N7.

From Johnstown / N7 northbound:
Enter the village and at the central T-junction follow the signs to " Furness Church " and the Irish Equine Centre. Take the next left some 300 meters after the Equine Centre (passed on your left). After another 400 meters, you reach a junction with a sharp turn to your left - ignore (you will see a pillar behind the wall to your left). Carry straight on for 100 meters and the gates (black with an adjacent gate lodge) are on your left.

From Kill / N7 southbound:
Enter the village and turn onto the road opposite the "Dew Drop Inn" pub (direction Kilteel). Some 300 meters on, turn right down a lane behind an old well hand-pump. Sign for Kill International Equestrian Centre. The KIEC you pass on your right. Continue for a mile / 1.5km up and down a hill. At the bottom of the hill is a junction; a pillar stands in the field on your left; continue left and the gates are 100 meters on the left.
